USM EXPLORE DIGITAL AND AI COLLABORATION IN MEDICAL MANAGEMENT WITH WINNING HEALTH TECHNOLOGY, CHINA

KUALA LUMPUR, April 8, 2025 — Representatives from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) and the USM Specialist Hospital (HPUSM) met with delegates from Winning Health Technology Co. Ltd, China, today at the TH Properties office to discuss potential collaboration in medical management solutions.

The meeting aimed to provide an overview of the latest healthcare technologies and IT solutions developed by Winning Health Technology, with a focus on enhancing medical management practices through digital transformation and innovation.

USM was represented by the Director of the Health Campus, Professor Dr. Shaiful Bahari Ismail and the Director of HPUSM, Professor Dato’ Dr. Ab Rahman Izaini Ghani @ Ab Ghani both of whom expressed strong interest in the integration of advanced technology in healthcare service delivery. Also in attendance was the Chairman of TH Properties, Dato’ Husam Musa who welcomed the initiative as a significant step forward in regional healthcare collaboration.

The discussion centered on potential areas of partnership, including hospital information systems, patient data management, and integrated digital platforms aimed at improving hospital efficiency and patient care.

Both parties agreed that continued dialogue and mutual cooperation would be crucial in exploring joint initiatives that could benefit not only the institutions involved but also the wider healthcare sector in Malaysia.

The meeting concluded on a positive note, with plans for follow-up engagements and technical evaluations in the near future.
